Angelic Voices – Vox Angeli Children’s Choir

Another victory in our Philippine Larynx ladies and gentlemen, The VOX ANGELI Children’s Choir (clap, clap, clap). A great victory off shore from the recently concluded Choir Contest in Hongkong.

The genre that they play is not actually my type of music, but it interests me is that behind our recent lost in the Olympics, a victory from Hongkong came home with a Gold. As a former choir member on my High School (not high school musical) I know how hard is to prepare on a contest (when I say its hard… its really hard).

What victory is to the members and the conductor of the group, snagging Gold in the Children’s choir category and bringing home the silver for the Folkloric category.

They just shy of a point from the winner in the Folkloric category. Well having a gold in the Children’s Choir Category is such a big big blessing already and the silver will be just a bonus in the end.

The Angelic faces and voices of this choir group arrived here last Saturday AUG 23.

What a group that really have the opportunity to join the Olympics concert, plus the appearance of Superstar Jackie Chan appearing on the said event.

The Hush Sound

This band is introduced by YUKO UNO (so we call her) my office mate, I am searching to some new sound in my playlist. She is quiet in office and I wonder what is in her IPOD. Out of curiosity I play first BREAK THE SKY. It break my heart about a relationship that is about to end.

The Hush Sound

Hush Sound, has been 3 months in my playlist and MP3 player, and the sound like CABARET is just the suitable sound while cruising down the HIGHWAY.

I haven’t ventured much in the indie music scene, how they goes in the music industry, nowadays. But Hush Sound is a Gold mine of potential of creativity in notes and a smithing words to create a harmony liken they sound right now.

So Sudden – Not much treasure in here, just the TRACK – “THE ARTIST”

Like Vines – I hear this album it is like their playing. Kids in the playground.

Goodbye Blues – A sad but a very entertaining album, Good Job.

I do not like the GUY’s voice, the only tracks that I am interested in is AS YOU CRY! A very upbeat and jiggly. Another sad one, but a suitable track for the “new generation”. I am looking forward to hear this in any of the bands here in the Philippines.

Wine Red is the classic sound of CABARET. I really like this track the voice of the girl (GRETA) is a very good in this kind of music.

All in all it is not tiring to listen to. It is fun.

Wordcamp Pass!!!

I got it the long wait is over now, I got my Wordcamp Pass. I like the design of the WordPress Philippines.

I printed it already, actually I made 2 for remembrance and I really want to brag about it. I am a camper now!!!!

In any organization there are always HOUSE RULES. Respect it or else you will be prosecuted by cute GUARDS in CSB.

4. There’s no venue that’s full of power outlets.. So we suggest you charge your gadgets the night before WordCamp.

5. Free Wi-Fi.. CSB’s Computer Business Association and the Association of Information Management will try their best to provide everyone with their wi-fi needs.

6. Wear something. You can wear your native dress if you like. Also, slippers/sandals are not allowed. It’s for the protection of your feet! =p

7. Be there early or on time… Just so we’ll start on time. yah now. Gates open at 8:00 AM
