Indifference is The Opposite of Love

Indifference

Life

How ideally you picture a certain situation, a topic or a person, there is always a hybrid came up. There is always an exception to the rule. Let’s go extreme, a priest, how holy or forgiving the picture of a priest to you there is always an exception to the rule. Like for this example, a priest committing child pornography. A 36 year old priest admits that he goes to porn sites to browse pictures of minors. The priest also confesses that he took some of the church funds for a family emergency. The priest surrendered to the police and was deported.

There is always a rotten tomato in a bunch of good tomatoes. If the church has it so as every organization in the world; indeed reality bites we are sinners.

The situation is really critical these days, the call is very urgent; we need to change for the betterment of the people. More and more people are getting indifferent.

“There was a rich man who was clothed in purple and fine linen and who feasted sumptuously every day. And at his gate was laid a poor man named Lazarus, covered with sores, who desired to be fed with what fell from the rich man’s table. Moreover, even the dogs came and licked his sores. The poor man died and was carried by the angels to Abraham’s side. The rich man also died and was buried, and in Hades, being in torment, he lifted up his eyes and saw Abraham far off and Lazarus at his side. … Luke 16:19-31

Then what is happening is a chain of sins, anger and hate comes along and as the days go by, the bruises of the heart become numb until indifference and the love has gone away. The heart should be fed by love always but as it become numb through the series of events being just people we get tired and the care has been denied to the person torment us. The cycle is will just keep on going until we are all dead.

There was a priest once I heard in his Homily that hate is not the opposite of love, indifference is the opposite of love. I totally agree on what he had said, since indifference is like the  nullity of love, well in simple words you totally do not care at all.

Even how beautiful, how majestic we picture our mothers, there is always an exception to the rule. I am pretty sure that I am not just saying this without evidence I just do not want to disclose anything but I believe that there is a hybrid mother that breaks all the character of what is a stereotype mother should be. In movies even how hard or how horrible mother they picture the mother in the end only one can break the mother’s heart her daughters or son. But as per my experience and witnessed, there is a mother out there that cares for her sister in law versus to her daughter, which is really surreal that to the extremes I really thought that she just gave out her sons and daughters to the world and she is done, go live your lives bitches!. Technically she is the mother she is the one gave birth but the care, she gave birth!

She computes every single expense that she given to her daughter, she is a neat freak, she is never happy for her daughter. Her daughter was denied of any sympathy even if her daughter’s life is at stake.

The scene is unbearable every single day, even how you refuse or reject the sin, you will surely get it the attitude is really unreasonable. She thinks of other people more than her daughter, her daughter needed money but she rather spent it to her sister to buy goods for trade than to  have a sweet meal for her daughter.

To finish this blog post it’s just time would really decide if this is out of reach. I believe on the daughter is not giving up hope and prayers will surely give her strength.
